Meet us
Amanda Rosenberg
Amanda Rosenberg is a certified K-8 teacher with a degree from the University of Iowa, where she also minored in American Sign Language. She has a strong passion for literacy and has worked as a K-2 classroom teacher, interventionist, and instructional literacy coach. Amanda is trained in Wilson, Thinking Maps, Heggerty’s phonemic awareness, and Leveled Literacy Intervention.
Amanda understands that literacy is key to critical thinking, executive functioning, and helping children take ownership of their learning. She is excited to create space for children to find their voice as readers and writers.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, lively 2-year-old daughter Mila, and Goldendoodle Rue.
Julie Nuhn
Julie Nuhn is a skilled literacy expert with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University and a Master of Arts in Teaching. Certified in Reading Recovery since 2012, Julie is dedicated to ongoing professional growth, attending key conferences each year to stay at the forefront of literacy research.
Julie is passionate about helping children unlock their potential through reading and writing, knowing that strong literacy skills are the foundation for lifelong success.
Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two energetic boys, Luka and Bauer. Luka is excited to start kindergarten this fall, marking an exciting new chapter!
